Why name it Project AE71 , because I want to replace A type engine into this TE71 ( T for T type engine ) so name it AE71

stock TE dashboard with costom meter

this is celica 18RGEU DOHC 2000cc with 40DCOM weber 140hp@6800rpm

after removed all the dashboard and carpat and soundproof mats, found lots of rusted parts

dashboard removed , will install the ae111 dashboard into it

cut away the rusted panel

fix the rusted parts

spotweld body

spot weld it

removed 18R engine

20v vs 8v

20v motor into TE

return fuel line installed

Hemmer the firewall , if not can't put in the distributor

ready for painting the engine bay

basecoat on it first

grey color on it

final look ......so nice

install the EFI wiring loom , radiator & fan

20-10-05 done the engine ,aircon compressor & condensor , EFI wiring , radiator & fan ,

time to fix the ae111 dashboard , aircon blower , steering shaft , brake & clutch padel , meter & wiring

25-10-05 the steering support bar and aircon blower fitted

the ae111 steering shaft is too short , need to work out on it later

cut half on TE brake & clutch pedal , if not can't fit it back

fitted AE111 dashboard into it

use 2 KE70 uni-join and welding 1 of it

cut and weld backward the gear shifter
